King's Beach Bowl, where some serious acid-garage psychedelia went down; alas, it likely never will be released, but if you have not listened to this yet, don't waste another minute of your life

The first night was left off DP22 because no vocals were recorded; so all we have is this excerpt from the Taper's Section.

It would be really nice to get this material up on LMA/etree...it's not release Worthy anyway, why not let us have it?

Hey, maybe it will be considered release-worthy one day, if they ever do the Complete Winter '68 Box Set...
Besides, Lemieux probably got read the riot act when he got put in charge of the Vault due to all the tapes Latvala had leaked. They didn't even like the idea of people downloading from the Taper's Section...

Forum: GratefulDead Subject: 1st Ever Bid You Goodnight Jam?

Pretty sure this is the 1st recorded Bid You Goodnight jam, during Caution. It's short, but it's certainly there.

God damn, this performance is hot. Thanks for the excellent rec. I very highly recommend this to any early GD fans. The vocals are nearly inaudible, but otherwise the mix is very good, and doesn't take away from the enjoyment for me. I can hear the words in my head just fine.
